2C-B Phenethylamine

The effect of 2C-B phenethylamine (or 2CB or 4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenylethylamine) is described as being very empathogenic and optically but less top heavy. Due to the empathogenic effect (in lower doses) 2C-B is used as an MDMA replacement in XTC pills. In higher doses it has a strong psychedelic effect.
